This page is for the “Civics 101” class for Cycle 55. We will meet four times (one Zoom three in person) on three Friday mornings and one Monday morning. Our focus for this Cycle will be to gain an understanding of what civic engagement and DOING civics for change, service, and justice is all about. Each Intern will seek out a Chicago organization working in social justice and community service and learn about its work. Each class will begin with music suggested by an Intern. There will be a three week gap between Session #2 and Session #3.

Please take this quick introductory survey by July 3 -> https://form.jotform.com/Tresser/i-c-stars-c55-introductions. This will help me get to know the Cycle better faster.
